Virtually Worthless, by Dee Galizia
During my experiences with online gambling, it seems
that no matter what, you end up across a few "Too good
to be true" deals. Most of you have been in this scenario:
You go through your email, if you are like me, it's kind of
like this.....spam, spam, spam.....Viagra?!! Then you see
it! An email from a "Virtual Casino!" (Take your
pick, they're multiplying as we speak) Oh look! A coupon code
for free money! Surely they'll pay ME if I win!
Stop right there! These are the
dillusions of grandeur that people have when dealing with
the Virtual Casino group. I'll be the first to admit, I've
tried a couple of them. Never won, though. Then I start seeing
the horror stories of people winning money, and not getting
paid. Kind of makes me glad I didn't win. Some had even deposited
money before playing the free money, a supposed requirement;
not that it matters when it comes to this group of thieves.
What surprises me, is that even though there are several people
who've gotten cheated by Virtual, others still use the coupons.
Get with the program people! You've got a better chance of
getting hit by a bus than getting paid by them!
If you're sitting there reading this, and thinking, "Well,
I'll still play there, I haven't been cheated" go right
ahead. But when you hit that big win, and no one at Virtual
acknowledges your withdrawl, all I can say is....you asked
for it!
Now don't get me wrong, not all RTG casinos are Virtual clones.
There are still quite a few good ones (that
actually pay!) out there. Unfortunately they get a
bad rap due to the incompetance of the ones like Virtual.
I can also say that one big problem that is actually not Virtual's
fault (are you kidding?!) is that I've seen a few people actually
brag about opening multiple accounts just to keep getting
the free money. Now I can see if the casino allowed spousal
accounts, but these people are opening more like 5 + accounts!
I'm curious, what if you win using one of these phony accounts?
Do they have all the proper fake ID to send in to claim it?
Last time I checked, any RTG casino requires quite a bit of
personal information, you know; the dreaded faxback form,
eg. Now unless these guys have access to making several fake
drivers licenses and such, there's no way they can get the
winnings. Not like there's a snowball's chance in hell you'd
get them being honest.
My advice to you is simple, and what you've probably heard
a thousand times: don't play any of
the Virtual Group, of casinos. Hey, if you like clipping
coupons, go ahead. Just watch out for those Virtual ones.
