Fair Gambling
Do you
believe in Karma? If not, how about the aphorism, "For every
action there is an equal and opposite reaction"? The reason I
ask is because there is a huge factor that many gamblers
overlook when executing a gambling strategy. This factor is
called courtesy. You could also call it honesty, good will or
simply, the right thing to do. It doesn’t matter whether
you’re in the online casino or at the poker table during a
neighborhood game – Believe me, players cheat all the time in
online casinos. The real deal is that for everything you do,
it will be done unto you. Don’t worry, I’m not going to quote
scripture – But so what if I was! I cannot tell you how many
times I have seen or experienced for myself the outcome that I
helped to perpetuate at some time or another, whether it was
related to gambling or doing my taxes. It’s life folks, and
none of us is immune to it. Steal, and you will be stolen
from.
Okay, so what does this have to do with casino
gambling? Simply put, don’t cheat. This also applies to those
who turn a cheek. Instead – next time you are at a poker table
in the casino and see the dealer give a misread – speak up
about it even if it hinders or ruins your chances at winning
the pot. Believe me, you will be in the same john boat at some
point in time – and somebody else will be there to back
you up. So what if they don’t. Besides you probably not even
knowing about it, there will be a day in which you will be
compensated. Remember, the universe works in mysterious and
enchanting ways. You may not get compensated in the online
casino or when gambling in general. But you may be in the
parking lot walking to your car, accidentally drop a few large
bills, only to be called out by the friendly person walking
behind you who hands you the money with a smile.
Do yourselves a favor and do the right thing. (For as many
times as I have said a different cliche about the same
principle, there must be something to it) If you don’t want to
do it, do it anyways – You will see how good it feels. I know
that sounds selfish, but aren’t we all here to feel good and
have a good time? In that case, have fun in the online casino
people – it’s not a right, it’s a privelage! (One more cliché
for the gipper!)
