Bogus Online Directories

I am curious to know if anyone out there has ever surfed through one of those enormous gambling directories, hoping to find a casino that at the least smells decent, but only to find out they all smell the same –quite similar to that of a large, dumb animal?

If so, I feel a whole lot better. I just about beat myself wasting two hours looking for a decent casino in a directory that I will be kind enough to not mention. And I only spare them the mouth of the shark because there are hundreds of others who deserve to be mentioned as well. And I’m not going to, because when I finally do catch up with them all, there will be a hundred other newly created ones - Really, they are like mutated spawns of large beasts…Gross.

Do not look for places to gamble in so-called gambling search directories. I repeat, searching for an online casino in a large gambling directory is a waste of your time. Even if you did find a potentially good casino, the chances are that in your search you found twenty other ‘potentials’ - And now you can’t decide which one looks the best to you. One offers this but doesn’t have that. The other one has that but doesn’t have this – I know.

To be honest, most of these directories are created by webmasters who run or have an affiliation with all of these sites. And yes, there are webmasters out there with hundreds of websites promoting a handful of casinos. First of all, a directory like that is biased in that you are not seeing a broad spectrum of what’s out there. Secondly, a tactic like that must arise some concern regarding the motivations of the search directory. If it’s biased, at least be honest about it. Tell me that these casinos are affiliated with a single network. Do not try to cover it up and make me think I have found the gold mine of online gambling, because at that point you have just lost my trust and I am leaving your site.

Instead of online casino search directories, try gambling forums and some of the more popular gambling portals or online casino review sites. Although these types of sites can be biased themselves, if they look sharp and presentable, they are probably legit. Believe me, image goes a long way. If it looks like a whack surgeon job with no organization or spelling skills, don’t get an operation there. You do not want to be that person.

If you take your time on your search and do some serious online surfing from site to site, (not surfing within a gambling search directory), you will begin to see certain online casinos popping up with consistently good casino reviews and player satisfaction.
