Online Casino Divvies Out Trump Casinos
Casino Fortune, the
self-proclaimed third largest company in the online casino
gambling world, says they are proposing to spend $400 million
in an attempt to secure a stake of Trump Hotels and Trump
Casino Resorts.
The chief executive of Trump Resorts, Donald Trump will no
longer serve in his current position of casino executive
primarily because his three casinos in Atlantic City, New
Jersey have incurred a debt of $1.8 million. Attempts are
being made to bring in more investment money – chiefly through
the equity group DLJ Banking.
This is where Casino Fortune come into the picture. The
battle they face is largely against the U.S. government, who
has declared online gambling and online casino ownership
illegal in the U.S. Although Casino Fortune, run by the Sunny
Group, is an offshore company based in Antigua, the bottom
line is that they have been known to take bets from U.S. based
gamblers.
In order for Casino Fortune to be a likely candidate in
getting a piece of Trump Casinos, they must be willing to end
all transactions with U.S. patrons (which still doesn’t erase
the fact that they have gone against the U.S. government), or,
sell their online gambling empire and put all their resources
into the Trump venture, which Sunny Group executives say they
would be willing to do.
