New
Advertising Service For Online Casinos
A new advertisement service for online casinos and gaming
sites is up and running, catering to the dent in advertising
that resulted from major search engines ceasing advertising
for online gambling sites. Called Bettoo Ltd, the new
service was spawned from the company's prior service which it
dropped in response to pressures by the US government.
Now using what the company calls an Active-Clix system that
identifies users, advertisements are now clear of violating
laws that say otherwise.
The way the system works is that it prevents just anyone
(underage gamblers, US citizens etc.) from visiting a casino
site through an advertisement on the Bettoo website by first
requiring users to identify themselves using advanced security
features. If a user does not meet the requirements, he
or she will be redirected as well as prevented from trying to
use the system for future use. The service also does not
display url's of betting sites so that users can type in the
web address for themselves.
Bettoo spokesperson, Chad Noble, stated that the company
understands why large search engines like Google gave into
pressures to cease advertising for online casino sites - They
made enough advertising revenue from other industries as it
was; So rather than be caught in a legal battle, the search
engines simply complied. Bettoo still believes that
online gambling sites have a right to advertise and so are
taking steps to make that a reality with their Active-Clix
system.
