Biggest NASCAR Test Ever
If you are a NASCAR fan, or even a race fan in general, you
need to know about what is going on in Las Vegas starting
today. The largest NASCAR test, called the "Preseason
Thunder", will take place at Las Vegas Motor Speedway today,
spanning over the next four days.
Forty-three racing teams and some sixty drivers (a record
total) will be participating in the test in order to rack up
vital test miles and practice with their pit teams. Those
participating include all of last years Chase For the Cup
drivers, as well as defending champ, Martin Truex Jr.
Fans are welcome to watch from the Las Vegas Motor Speedway
stands, and cheer on their favorite drivers, and even get a
feel for who is hot and who is not - This years NASCAR betting
pool is expected to be bigger than ever.
Just about every big name in NASCAR will be in attendance,
including Dale Earnhardt Jr., Rusty Wallace, the Busch
brothers, Jeff and Robby Gordon, Ricky Rudd, Bobby Labonte and
Dale Jarrett. The Speedway will be open to the public, free of
charge from 9 am to 5 pm.
