Win a Buy-in to the WPT Finale in Las Vegas

On April 18, 2005 millions of people will be watching the drama begin to unfold on the day that marks the beginning of the World Poker Tour Finale in Las Vegas. The final round will be held at the Bellagio Casino Resort and will attract approximately 1,000 poker players. The prize pool will be in excess of $25 million – one of the largest to date.

The buy-in for this highly anticipated game is $25,500, which is quite a bit, to say the least. Expectedly, many poker professionals on the poker tour circuit can afford this size buy-in, or their sponsors can. But, isn’t there a way for the fine poker gamblers who make an average income to get in the tournament? You may have heard about seemingly unknowns winning previous World Poker Tournament games, who are now like celebrity stars. Well, just like these players got their in, there is a way for you too. Many a land-based casino across the continental U.S. is offering players a chance to win a seat in the finale for as little as $35.

If you not only an online casino bettor, but a frequenter of brick ‘n mortar casinos as well, you can take advantage of this generous offer that also covers round-trip air fare and accommodations at the Bellagio. Participating casinos in Nevada include the Bellagio itself and the Riverside Resort Hotel & Casino. Other sites are the Apache Gold Casino (San, Carlos, Arizona), Sandia Casino (Albuquerque, New Mexico), Argosy Casino Baton Rouge (Baton Rouge, Lousiana), Grand Casino Coushatta (Kinder, Louisiana), Black Bear Casino (Carlton, Minnesota), Roman Casino (Seattle, Washington) and Bad River Casino (Odena, Wisconsin), just to name a few.

There is also a smaller $2,500 buy-in at many Bellagio super-satellites, which will be held immediately prior to the World Poker Tour finale at smaller poker rooms in the Las Vegas area. Check the Bellagio for more details.
