Sun
Poker Sues Casino Online
Is it any wonder that the online casino GoldnPalace is
being sued? And is it even more surprising they are being sued
over an eBay auction? Sorry to disappoint you folks, but
sometimes even bad news is good news. Sun Poker is suing
the online casino for allegedly stealing its winning bid to
advertise on a pregnant woman’s belly. According to Sun
Casino, they were contacted by Ms. Harp (the pregnant woman)
after the eBay auction was over, which the casino says they
won with a high bid of $8,900. Arrangements were made to begin
an airbrushing of the casinos name on her belly, but were soon
cancelled by Ms. Harp after she received a private offer from
GoldnPalace casino that was worth more.
Now, Sun Poker has filed a lawsuit against the other online
casino, claiming they violated the rules of the eBay auction,
which it evidently looks as if they did. According to the
auction agreement, any seller may retract an item and not
commence with a sale after the auction bidding has taken
place; However, sellers are not permitted to retract an item
in order to sell it to an under-bidder or private solicitor.
Sun Poker is filing another lawsuit against the racy online
casino for plagiarism as well. Soon after Sun Poker won the
auction, they made a press release announcing the news, and
how Ms. Harp would be attending the Daytona 500, showing off
her spackled belly. Well, the ever-so smart GoldnPalace casino
copied the press release word for word, and in turn, released
it under their name instead. It is clear that Sun Poker is
highly upset over the matter, and undoubtedly has a strong
case in the courtroom.
