Look out Gambling Online Magazine – there’s more online casino happenings these days than any single online gambling magazine can keep up with. This is precisely why Future Publishing is planning to release their own version of a casino gambling magazine called Online Gambler.

Planned for release on March 24, 2005, the first issue will be the month of April’s, and is aiming big, seeking for the distribution of some 500,000 copies – And that’s bigger than Gambling Online Magazine. However, it is not size that matters, right? (Please say right!) All casino enthusiasts know that Gambling Online Magazine is highly respected, and that their annual awards given to the best online casinos and gambling websites are to be reckoned with.

This is where Online Gambler will be put to the test. Are they going to succumb to being an advertising farm – because with a distribution of 500,000, many an online casino is going to pay a big price tag for some exposure. And with casinos looking for more of an "in" as far as advertising goes, (no thanks to the big search engines, who do not advertise for online casino sites anymore) the magazine is going to be faced with some pressure, and must decide if they want to sacrifice quality for money. Hmm?

However, the new magazine claims there will be current news articles, insider tips on casino games, promotion announcements and critiques on the entire online gambling experience. Sounds like what many gambling sites claim they do but don’t follow through on. I for one will try to believe in Online Gambler and hope they come through on their promise…It’s about time for a new online gambling magazine to hit the e-stands.
