First
Ever European Gambling Briefing
Online casino and land-based casino investors, operators
and marketers are encouraged to attend the first European
Gambling Briefing on April 25 and 26 at the Conrad Hotel in
Brussels. In attendance will be many prominent European
gambling regulators, lawyers and casino owners.
The objective of the two-day briefing is to talk about the
most pressing topics facing the casino gambling industry, and
how things can be improved. With several experts in various
fields of study contributing to the discussions and planning,
the briefing should undoubtedly contribute to the welfare of
the fast-moving European gambling scene.
Some of the topics already on the agenda are whether state
gambling monopolies should remain in operation or whether they
should be disconfigured - and how that will effect the
European economy. Besides other politically driven economic
issues, market figures will by analyzed and casino investing
opportunities will be examined.
Representatives from the Maltese Gaming Authority, Swiss
Comparative Law Institute, Begian Gaming Regulation, European
Commission and Stanleybet will be at the briefing speaking on
some of the issues at hand. The briefing is the first of its
kind, uniting several European countries in talks to develop
and further strengthen the casino gambling industry in the
area. If this inaugural meeting goes as planned, gambling
professionals should expect to see more briefings in the near
future.
