Century Casinos is one of the companies feeling the strain. On August 11, they made their 2nd quarter earnings available to investors. The investors had the difficult job of attempting to predict the future and decide whether it would be in their best interest to buy more or sell.

Inflation as well as this critical presidential transition are concerning many members of the gambling industry. Land-based casinos have also been given a hard time because of their loud voice in Washington, which until now has kept the government from legalizing and regulating online gambling.
