GPWA - Gambling Portal Webmasters Association
This group was formed to bring a voice to all members
of the association, its main purpose is to help all gambling
webmasters that are part of its member base. Over the past
months, it has been one of the strongest industry voices against
Spy Ware. The most popular type
of this software Gator; a wolf
in sheep's clothing. I'm not going to go into what this software
does & the dangers of using it, there are plenty of resources
on the net, if you would like to know more about, why you
should not use it.
The GPWA has grown into a formidable & powerful voice
within this industry. From its humble beginings, its popularity
has grown and now boasts over 200+ association members. As
the end of 2002 was coming to a close, there were rumours
that the GPWA was affected by an in association power struggle.
As usually happens when industry news breaks, it ended up
on whinners online; oops typo,
I meant to say winners online. The cackle of half wits that
frequent this forum board, IMO need to get a life! If you've
ever had the unfortunate experience of viewing the 1/2 cocked,
jibbering cr#p that spews from the mouths of these morons,
then you'll understand what I mean. If not then your lucky!
After forcing myself to wade through; endure, the mind numbing
ignorance of 95% of the posts, & one eyed, tunnel vision
replies. I left knowing there clearly was a hidden agenda,
pirouetting that day.
Popualirty and success breeds contempt, there will always
be those unfortunates. If there ever was a case to be grounded
on such thoughts then this is it. The insidious mockings mix
parallel; all's fair in love & war, retorts.
The GPWA is alive and well, nice try, better luck next time!
Next week I'll be back on the heels of Virtual Casino Group
and those who support these online casino rogues. Till next time, remember if it
sounds too good to be true, it probably is!
